Chief Investment Officer
Tim A. Kröncke is Chief Investment Officer at Remaco Asset Management AG. He is a capital markets enthusiast with a strong academic background. In his role, he uses academic insights to benefit investors and shed light on the economic drivers of financial markets and institutions. Tim’s research on this topic has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Monetary Economics, and he has participated in numerous practice-oriented research projects with government institutions and industry. Tim is also head of the Institute of Financial Management at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft FHNW and a lecturer at the University of Basel.
Prior to joining Remaco, he was a full professor of finance at the University of Neuchâtel, an assistant professor at the University of Basel, and a research associate at ZEW in Mannheim. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Mannheim, a diploma in Economics from the University of Fribourg and is a certified banker (IHK, Germany).
